AWARENESS: Change or Chance?
Your Mindset Matters

This booked changed my world because it introduced me to the power of perspective.

My friend gave me this book to read years ago when I was going through a very tough time – mentally, physically and emotionally. It didn’t take me long to finish the book because it is such an easy read.

The result… my anxiety reduced and I started on the path to healing. It was so profound, in 2016, I had the opportunity to fly to Nashville to meet Andy Andrews and thank him for the words he wrote.

It’s human nature to make things complicated. This book gives some insights that helps to find the simple solutions.

Food really is our medicine! I’ve seen amazing things happen when people change their diet!

We don’t know what we don’t know. In a world where they have started 3D printing food, it’s critically important to understand the reasons it’s important to pay attention to what our body is trying to digest.

Having said that, I’m also a firm believer in the 80/20 rule because I’ll never beat myself up for eating turkey dinner, complete with the stuffing, dressing, pumpkin pie and whipping cream! Obviously, that’s only a few times a year and not every day. It’s the same principle.

I highly recommend this book.

the life-changing magic of tidying up

Christmas 2015, my girls bought me this book. One of my mottos is “finding the cause is better than batting a symptom”. It’s not easy, but a better investment of time, because once found, the problem goes away.
Keeping things clean in a busy house isn’t for the faint of heart… and most times it didn’t work – for my entire existence as a parent back then, and, at that time, it was grating on my nerves.
The book was about clearing out the clutter so that you can be surrounded by the things you really love. In the first week of January 2016, I threw out, recycled or donated 111 green garbage bags of “stuff” that I didn’t want or need anymore. The craziest part, is the house didn’t look any emptier. It was just organized and everything had a place.
Living life “simple” and “lighter” is amazing…

When I fell on my tailbone, the back pain was relentless!

For years, I had side pain that just wouldn’t let up. If I can’t sleep or just feel stressed, this is my go to heating pad.

It has a heat gauge I can crank up to 159 and a timer that lets it run for as long as 3 hours. Most times, I sit or lay on it and I’m sleeping in no time.

It’s like it sucks pain and stress right out of the body. It’s been a wise investment for me.

I wanted a water filtering system that wasn’t attached to a water cooler because I watched how slimy they can get if they aren’t cleaned regularly.

I wanted something that filtered the water without removing all the minerals that the body needs, had good PH levels for alkalinity, great tasting water and that didn’t take forever to filter! This is it!!!
